Changes to School Day from September 2024

Over the last few weeks, we have consulted with parents, staff and directors (governors) regarding a change to the timings of the school day from September 2024 to meet the statutory 32.5 hours/week.

We have come to the conclusion that we will add this additonal time to the begining of the day and the gates will open at 8.30am (currently 8.40am) and registration will be at 8.45am (currently 8.55am).

The new school day will be as follows:

08.30 - Gates open

08.45 -  Register Taken

10.30-10.45 - EYFS and Key Stage 1 playtime

10.45 - 11.00 - Key Stage 2 playtime

12.00 - 12.45 - EYFS and Key Stage 1 lunchtime

12.15 - 13.00 - Key Stage 2 lunchtime

13.10 - Daily Worship (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday whole school, Tuesday Class Worship)

15.15 - School day ends
