Beech - Year 5 2026 - 2027

                                                                                      Welcome to Beech Class! 

This half term, we will be exploring our topic of Tudors. We will be thoroughly exploring this topic through our Shared Reading, Art and History lessons, finishing the half term with a trip to Little Moreton Hall to consolodate our learning. For English, our topic this half term is The Place Value of Punctuation and Grammar, which we will explore over the next few weeks to aid our writing. In Science, we will be looking at materials and their properties as well as planning and conducting our own investigations.

Forest School

Forest school will be every other Thursday and the dates are all on our school calendar. Children must come into school in their forest school clothing and bring their wellies/walking boots in a separate bag. 

For Autumn term the dates are: 

24th September

8th October

15th October

PE

PE will be every Friday morning. Children will need to bring in their PE kits for these days. 

We will also try and get outside to complete the daily mile as much as possible.
