Beech - Year 5 2025 - 2026

                                                                                      Welcome to Beech Class! 

This half term, we will be exploring our topic of The Americas. We will be thoroughly exploring this topic through our English, Shared Reading, Art and History lessons. For English, we will be using the text `The Lost Book of Adventures` to aid our writing. In Science, we will be looking at Space as well as planning and conducting our own investigations.

Forest School

Forest school will be every other Thursday and the dates are all on our school calendar. Children must come into school in their forest school clothing and bring their wellies/walking boots in a separate bag. 

For Summer term the dates are: 

11th June 

25th June 

9th June (end of year production dependant)  

PE

PE will be every Tuesday afternoon. Children will need to bring in their PE kits for these days. 

We will also try and get outside to complete the daily mile as much as possible.
