Beech - Year 5 2025 - 2026

Welcome to Beech Class! This half term our topic will be The Ancient Mayas. We will be thoroughly exploring this topic throughout History, English, Art and Shared Reading. In English, we will be looking at the text `Rainplayer`. 

In Science this half term, we will be exploring the topic of `living things and their habitiats` where we will be investigating different animals and their environments as well as conducting our own research, investigations and presenting data.  

Forest School

Forest school will be every other Thursday and the dates are all on our school calendar. Children must come into school in their forest school clothing and bring their wellies/walking boots in a separate bag. 

For this half term the dates are:

4th December

18th December

PE

PE will be every Tuesday afternoon. Children will need to bring in their PE kits for these days. 

We will also try and get outside to complete the daily mile as much as possible.
