At Smallwood, we take online safety seriously and are proactive in making sure that our children stay safe online. We have an ICT Acceptable USE Policy as well as an OnlineSafety Policy.
We teach safe use of the internet, as well as about cyber-bullying, through our PSHE curriculum as well as part of Anti-bullying week.
Skips Safety Net is a very useful resource for parents to look at.
NSPCC - From understanding apps to setting parental controls, the NSPCC has information and resources to help parents understand online safety and talk about it with children and young people.
NNECA believe 90% of child sexual abuse is preventable through better education and awareness
The Guides and Resources on the Internet Matters website are very helpful for parents in understanding how to keep children safe online, age limits and other resources.
