Welcome to Hazel Class.

It is my pleasure to teach in Year 6!

I feel privileged to take on the task of year 6 and to teach my 'oakies' again now they have become hazel nuts! My passion is Art which will be brought into the classroom at every opportunity for creative learning.

I am equally family orientated and love spending my free time with my boys (husband and dog too) and travelling the world.

Our curriculum

Autumn 1- The Industrial Revolution of the North

In English the focus will be on spelling, punctuaction and grammar.

In maths our main focus will be place value.

Forest School

Forest school is every other Thursday starting on Thursday 10th September. Please see the calendar.

Our PE slot is on a Thurssday afternoon so please ensure full PE kit is in school. Children should come in their uniform (other than forest school week) and will get changed into their PE slot before the session.
